About Alex

I’m originally from Penfield, New York, and freshly graduated with a New Media degree at Finger Lakes Community College. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, storytelling, and collaboration. As a kid, I was constantly acting out movie scenes I remembered or making up my own, and over time that turned into wanting to create stories instead of just performing them. That mindset eventually led me to media production and filmmaking, which is where I found the creative outlet that felt right for me.

What I love most about the creative process is collaboration. Working with people you respect, sharing ideas, giving notes, and building something together is one of the most rewarding parts of making media to me. During college, my perspective on creativity and production really expanded, especially through the guidance of Professor Paul Engin, who helped me understand both the technical side of production and the mindset needed to become a self-starter and actually bring ideas to life.

Outside of media, I’m heavily into fitness and spend a lot of my time in the gym. Recently I’ve gotten more serious about bodybuilding, and one of my long-term goals is to compete. I’m also a huge car enthusiast — especially modified cars, whether they’re built for speed, sound, or just personality. Beyond that, I enjoy being outdoors and disconnecting from screens whenever I can, whether that’s through hiking, driving, or simply spending time in nature.
